Yes, the music on this album is as good as the album artwork!
English alternative rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, Dinosaur Pile-Up, bursts right into the rock scene with their second studio album. Each song on Nature Nurture (2013) compliments the other which ultimately creates a work of art much like witnessing one dinosaur fall on top of another on Skull Island (the origin of the bands name). The current members of the band are lead singer and guitarist Matt Bigland, bassist Jim Crarchley, and drummer Mike Sheils. Dinosaur Pile-Up recently released their fourth studio album, Celebrity Mansions, which features one of my favorite songs from 2019.
The band has many influences in their style of rock such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones, and Weezer. They even go further back and site The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Slayer as older influences. These bands can easily be heard in Pile-Up’s music.
Be sure to check out Nature Nurture wherever music is streamed and/or purchased.
